WE FILLED THE TURBINE HALL WITH A NEW SPECIES

Technically it wasn’t us, it was actually renowned conceptual artist Anicka Yi. But this is show business baby and the film didn’t make itself. With the Turbine Hall slowly filling up with squid-like flying robots, our task was to create a film that immortalised the latest Hyundai Commision (for those who couldn’t visit).

The films follow individuals interacting and reacting to Yi’s installation as she narrates over – and we even chucked in a specially commissioned soundtrack in there to help bring the “Xenojellies” to life.
