WE HELPED GIRLS GET EQUAL THROUGH ACTIVISM AND LEADERSHIP
THE PROJECT
THE PROJECT
Plan were looking for their next multi-year campaign to help young females all over the world.
Rather than speaking for girls, we boosted their voice with ‘Girls Get Equal’. It was Plan’s largest social-change campaign to date, launching in nearly 50 markets online and on social channels and TV.
THE OUTCOME
THE OUTCOME
International Day of the Girl saw music powerhouse Paloma Faith joining youth activists, on top of a host of global celebrities and brands to launch Girls Get Equal: the world’s biggest girl-led action for gender equality.
The project was then fully unveiled at the Global Girls summit on International Day of the Girl in Brussels, introducing a new universal sign for solidarity and empowerment – which is still being used to date.
